T3 Curling Iron Review
So ever since I went to Florida a few weeks ago, I have been obsessing over this curling iron! I loved it so much I asked for it for Christmas! Ever since I tried this curling iron, my curls honestly haven’t looked better. I knew instantly this would be my new favorite. Since I have such long, thick hair, it hair never seems to hold a curl. It doesn’t matter what product I use it goes flat! Within 20 minutes all my curls fall and it looks like I didn’t even curl my hair…ugh! There was a point in time where I refused to do my hair because I would just get so frustrated! This is the only curling iron I’ve used that hold my curls all day, and even the next day they look like beach waves! That’s a huge accomplishment for my hair. I even chopped my hair senior year of high school and it still didn’t hold a curl.
In all the pictures above, (sorry for all the selfies) this is what my hair looks like when I use the T3 Micro Curling Iron. Recently, I have been using the 1.25″ barrel. Which is the standard size it comes with if you order with the clip, not the wand. I am going to be purchasing the wands in the future and will do a review on those too. IF you are on a budget and can’t afford to get all the attachments and the curling iron, I recommend using the Curling Iron with the Clip like the one I’m using. You can get any type of curls you want with this iron. If you want beach waves, or old Hollywood curls all you have to do is brush the curls out!
How I Curl My Hair
- Brush your hair to get out all tangles
- Use a heat protectant spray if you have one. I haven’t found one I am in love with yet (comment below your favorite if you have one)
- Wait until curling iron has heated up all the way for even curls
- Section curls (if you have layers like me)
- Start curling your hair parallel to your head for bottom layers and at a 90 degree angle for top layers (to maximize volume)
- Once you have curled your entire head, spray with a light hold hairspray, and let curls cool.
- Brush curls with brush if you want more of a relaxed look
- Spray with a shine spray and a more strong hold hairspray
