The person you look up to the most and why? I can name so many but they all have a similar story: They took every challenge/adversity they had in their lives and found a ways to turn that experience into a positive, and sometimes even success! I love seeing successful people with a story about their past– how difficult times shaped who they are today. I always look to them for motivation when I need it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be? Bora Bora
The best moment in your life so far was when…. I studied abroad in Spain
What made you decide to start a blog? My best friend Stefania and I created Lady Code to serve as a women’s wellness and empowerment platform for women. We both had a history with bullying and we wanted to focus on empowering women through the blog. Stefania decided to pursue her career and her education so I sort of took over the blog.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I see Vizcaya Swimwear being a multi-million dollar company and I hope to be traveling across the country sharing my personal story to motivate women. I’m also obsessed with makeup and I might explore becoming a makeup artist on the side, as if I don’t have enough on my plate already!
If you could meet one famous person who would it be and why? James Franco to ask him to marry me.
How much time do you spend blogging and your favorite part about it? I spend about 3-5 days a week blogging. I love how much it motivates me!
How would you describe your personal style? I’m definitely a chameleon: I can be Barbie one day and total hippie the next, but I think I’ll always have a retro edge to my personal style.
If someone walked up to you asking for your advice and you only had a few minutes to give them your best tip, what would it be? Do whatever makes you happy and don’t worry about what ANYONE thinks about you.
Most important content in a blog bloggers should address: Remain credible and authentic, no matter what offers you might get from sponsors.
