We’ve all heard of this new makeup trend called contouring, right? We’ve seen many celebrities look completely reformed whether it looks like they’ve had a nose job, lip injections, higher cheekbones, and even look 20 pounds thiner! How can this possibly happen? Well, that is the magic of contouring my loves! And believe me when I say this…I’ve seen all of the above! Look at the transformation below!

As you can see there is a more defined jawline, thinner nose, higher cheekbones, thinner all around face, higher brows, etc.

I’ve used many kits when contouring my face and you may want to know which are my favorites!

Splurge: Anastasia Cream Contour Kit

Save: Younique Cream and Powder Contour Kit

I’ve used both of these kits, but the one pictured is the Younique Cream Contour Kit. I love the pigment in these colors. It goes great with my skin tones and even goes on really smooth. I topped this look with the Smashbox Cosmetics Powder Contour Kit just to add the finishing touches to make sure the contour and highlight stayed in place. This look was for Miss USA Finals in early June. It was in Vegas and was on average 110 degrees so I wanted to make sure this makeup wasn’t going anywhere!

Paisley Blue Kaftan Dress

Wow I can honestly say that I’ve never seen a dress like this before. I wore this during my trip a week ago to Vegas, and got so many compliments! It was perfect for a pool day but would also look GREAT on the beach! This dress is light-weight, breathable, but form fitting. Even in the 110 degree heat I wasn’t melting in it so that says a lot. This dress is a blue and white deep v neckline kaftan dress with slits up the sides. I am 5’8 and the slit on the side was the perfect length. A lot of the time, you will see tall girls like me with slits that are way to short, but this was perfect.

Wake Up Tired Looking Eyes

Do you ever wake up and think “wow it looks like I need more sleep!” I can say, that is me pretty much every morning. My bags under my eyes and dark circles never seem to go away. With a few remedies I am POSITIVE you will wake up looking more energized and ready to take on the day with whatever you may face. Lets get started!

Every morning and night I apply this Skin Care Cosmetics Retinol Eye Serum. It has micro beads in the serum to help tighten and rejuninate those tired looking eyes. I have been using this serum for two weeks now and have seen a noticeable difference! My skin feels tighter around my eyes (AKA Crow’s Feet) leaving less bagging under my eyes…LOL no pun intended! This gel will help minimize the appearance of puffiness, dark circles and restore tone and elasticity in just a few uses. Even those with the most delicate skin can use this serum.

Place 2 medium size spoons in the freezer for approximately 7 minutes.
Take the spoons out and place under your eyes with the rounded tip of the spoon on your “bags”
Hold there for 10 minutes.

After, your eyes will be less puffy and you will look more awake!

Daytime and Beach Outfits

Here is a look into my summer closet! During the summer, I love wearing rompers, and dresses so you will see quite a few different looks today on my blog. I just got back from Vegas last night and it was a blast! Oh my gosh do I wish I could go back already! It was a great break, but I’m ready for what the next couple of weeks will bring! Here are the outfits I wore while on vacation. They were perfect for the 110 degree heat. They were lightweight making it much more bearable in the heat. All the looks below are from Gypsie Soul.
