Summer Wedding Makeup
Adding to my summer series with this summer wedding look! I had so much fun creating this summer wedding makeup tutorial with Charlotte Tilbury! As many of you know, her makeup is some of my all time favorites! I did a post a few months ago with her instant eyeshadow palette and her magic foundation and still use them everyday. For creating bridal makeup looks a few of my favorites are the retoucher, contour and highlight, and Hollywood Flawless Filter is to die for. It is like an Instagram Filter for your face!
Bridal Makeup Tips
Creating a natural glow from within is what will make you stand out on your wedding day. A few favorite tricks of mine are adding highlighter to the inner corner of your eye, overlining your lips, and as always, applying wispy false lashes. The lashes will open your eyes and make them more round for photos. Over-lining your lips make them look more plump and pouty. The inner corner eyeshadow makes your eyes look larger and brighter and is beautiful in photos. With lashes, its important to not get the most dramatic and darkest lashes, just subtle and whipy. You don’t want to look at them and think “oh those are fake” you want to keep people guessing!
To get the dewy look, the magic cream is a must or the sheet mask. This will leave your skin feeling so hydrated and give you that glow from within. Pairing that with a subtle highlighter is a gorgeous combo. I use these tricks on a lot of brides and they love them!
